“iBar is a system for the interactive design of any bar-counter. Integrated video-projectors can project any content on the milky bar-surface. The intelligent tracking system of iBar detects all objects touching the surface. This input is used to let the projected content interact dynamically with the movements on the counter. Objects can be illuminated at their position or virtual objects can be “touched” with the fingers.”

I was unexpectedly happy and proud to write myself my first official paycheck from my business. I shall bask in the glory of being able to pay the mortgage with my own money and not a line of credit this month. YAYUH!
After that, I hunker down and redesign my site. I connected with a CSS whiz to help me roll my own, including a groovy clickable timeline I decided I wanted for my news & events instead of a paragraph parade. Here’s a non-functioning image I made:

Before we left, the cats nested in the to-be-packed piles. Apparently the to-be-washed piles are equally enticing.
We were on St Kitts for a week, and left both our cameras home by mistake. We were so worried about making sure all 5 creatures were set that we totally forgot the cameras. Took a couple of phone camera shots (they suck). Awaiting a few shots to be emailed to us. Other than that, it’s all in our mind’s eye. Guess we’ll just have to go back….

Today’s entry is Betty! I met Larry last summer at a conference. We hit it off that day, and have stayed in touch. This is a very cool project he is doing. He originally started to get better at his drawing skills, and since he loves dogs, it seemed the perfect combo. I think he does a great job at capturing each one’s individual personality. He says he’s met a lot of cool people, too.
